There are concerns over black magic, occult and other faith-healer advertisements that are routinely run in ethnic media in Australia. Nav Sarkaria who lives in Melbourne’s southeast feels that young migrants from Indian-subcontinent are more vulnerable to fall prey to such schemes. Listen to this conversation for more details.


Many ethnic media platforms regularly offer advertising space to black magic services, tantriks, peer babas and faith-healers.

It is often young migrants who fall prey to these fake ‘quick-fix solutions’ to complex problems in life, say concerned members of the Australian Indian community.
