NAIDOC week: Punjabi teacher took time off to learn more about Aboriginal culture and language

Sydney-based Gurmeet Kaur, a Punjabi activist and teacher, took time off from her day job to attend a workshop where she discovered that the cultural values of Aboriginal people were quite similar to her own Indian and specifically Punjabi culture.
