After seeing her aunt suffer from dementia, Tejwant Kaur made it her mission to make life easier for other people suffering from the disease as well as their caretakers. After working in the field of Information Technology for over 12 years, managing specialist medical practices, Kaur blended her expertise from IT and healthcare to co-found an AI platform, 'Jiya'. The platform aims to help caregivers navigate the emotional and practical challenges of dementia. The platform, she says, offers tailored services based on each patient's needs. In an exclusive interview, Kaur shares how she transformed a heartbreaking family experience into an inspiring initiative that’s making a real difference for many.
