Padma Shri awardee Gurwinder Singh from Sirsa, Haryana, turned his life’s biggest tragedy into a mission to help others. After being paralysed from the waist down in a truck accident in 1997, he launched an ambulance service to ensure no injured person had to suffer due to a lack of transportation. He also runs a free-of-cost school and founded the 'Bhai Kanhaiya Ji charity home', which supports hundreds of people with intellectual disabilities. Listen to his powerful story of courage and compassion in this special interview recorded during his visit to Australia.
