At the 38th Australian Sikh Games, attendees raised $23,525 for the Royal Children’s Hospital. The Sikh Games Committee had pledged $125,000; however, the target could not be met within the course of the event. The Committee started the Sikh Community Auxiliary, which can raise funds to help sick kids in the future.

Despite raising less funds than expected, the Royal Children's Hospital thanked the Sikh Community for their generosity.

Parmjeet Singh Bhatti from the New Zealand Australian Punjabi Cultural Society, who has a longstanding commitment to The Royal Children's Hospital, said, "Amidst the economic uncertainty, people have still extended help, which is appreciated".

Apart from raising funds for the hospital, many volunteers contributed through ‘seva’ (selfless service) by providing langar (community meals), while others organised stalls to support various charitable causes.
