Artist Svetlana Prokhorova started creating her coffee monsters during Sydney's second lockdown. All she needed was a coffee machine, a free app on her tablet, and a creative spirit. The monsters have been popping up for three years now, and have grown into a whole series of mischievous creations.

Svetlana Prokhorova is a Brisbane based artists, born in the USSR.
She completed Master of Fine Art at the National Art School in Sydney, Australia (majoring in Printmaking).
Her creative practice based on the research of the legacy of Avant-garde and Russian Constructivism. She investigates the historical line of the art movement that started from the declaration of freedom, progress and bright future, later transformed into instrument of oppression, and revived again as a contemporary style for graphic design and urban art.
