Flu vaccine shortage in Victoria - Australia

Only Victoria's children, elderly and the sick will be able to get the flu vaccine, as the state attempts to manage short supplies of the vaccine.

Victorian Health Minister Jill Hennessy said that the flu vaccine would be rationed until the commonwealth government can ensure a more solid supply.

The shortage is due to record numbers of people getting the injection.
