Autism is often spoken about by parents, professionals and service providers. In this interview, Gokul Shankar shares his own journey of living with autism. Gokul holds Certificates III and IV, as well as a Diploma, in Logistics. He also holds Certificates III and IV, as well as a Diploma, in Business Administration. He shares who he is as a person, reflects on his journey of living with autism, and speaks about the support that has helped him move forward in life. He also discusses what the wider community should better understand about people with Autism, and why acceptance, inclusion and practical support are important for their wellbeing. RaySel spoke with Gokul, who visited the SBS studio for this SBS Tamil interview.
