A leading figure in school psychology, he has authored over 110 publications and received several national and international awards, including the Kalaimamani and Cal Catterall Awards. He is the Founder-President of the Indian and Asia Pacific School Psychology Associations, playing a key role in promoting mental health and teacher education across the region.
