Millions facing food insecurity as southern Africa endures historic drought

As Australia endures drought, fires and severe heat, southern Africa is also experiencing the worst drought some farmers have seen in decades. Many farmers are struggling just to keep people and animals alive, as the United Nations warns more than 11 million people now face crisis levels of food insecurity.
