Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has described the recent nerve-agent attack on a former Russian double agent and his daughter in Britain as disgraceful. Australia has responded by expelling two Russian diplomats it says it believes are undeclared intelligence agents, joining other world powers in a coordinated response to the attack. Russia has maintained its innocence in the matter. The Federal Government is expelling two Russian diplomats, giving them seven days to leave the country. The move is linked to the nerve-agent attack on former Russian double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia in Britain, widely being blamed on Russia. Australia is one of more than 20 countries expelling Russian diplomats as a result, the biggest series of expulsions since the Cold War.
