Pakistan hosts one of the largest refugee populations in the world. Afghan refugees amount to more than 2.3 millions according to Professor Jawad Syed from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) in Pakistan.


Talking to SBS Urdu, Professor Syed said there are many lessons for Australia to learn from Afghan refugee settlement and how the government of Pakistan responded to the situation.
