A multifaith Iftar dinner was held in Canberra on 28 February to strengthen community connections. The event was hosted by the Ginninderry in collaboration with HelpingACT and Kippax Uniting Church as part of efforts to bring people together. The event was attended by several dignitaries and community leaders, including His Excellency Mr Kemal Muftić, Ambassador of Bosnia; Andrew Leigh, Member of Parliament; Ms Noura Saleh, First Secretary of Palestine; Uniting Church State Minister Reverend Faaimata (Mata) Havea Hiliau; and Community Development Officer Jagmeet Singh Sandhu. Dr Andrew Leigh MP, Federal Assistant Minister for Productivity, Competition, Charities and Treasury, was also present.
