Do Australian political parties carry out their promises after winning power?

Sydney resident Samina Irfan says she votes hoping that political parties will fulfil their promises, but in reality, this often doesn't happen. She shared concerns about the immigration policy, and other citizens have also voiced their opinions to SBS Urdu.


Dr. Ali Sarfaraz, who has lived in Australia for fifty-four years, stated that most politicians engage with the public before elections but disappear afterwards. He also mentioned that political parties usually fail to implement their manifestos.
Shafaq Jaffri described the Australian government system as very strong, while Shakib Amir appeared satisfied with the implementation of the promises made by Australian political parties during the election campaign.
