Rescue and relief operation continues following floods in Pakistan

In Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, recent catastrophic floods have left hundreds feared missing and claimed over 300 lives. Many survivors personally witnessed the heartbreaking loss of their loved ones.


Pakistani authorities have issued an emergency alert ahead of expected heavy rains in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Balochistan.
Bilal Mukhtar, based in Canberra, is from the Mansehra district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Many of his family members are in the affected areas. Bilal says he has been in contact with his family, but the heavy rains have severely disrupted communication and transportation.
