Applying for a refugee visa can be a mentally exhausting process where the visa applicant is completely unaware of their future. On the other hand, obtaining housing and basic necessities can also prove difficult. Aimen Tahir says the time it takes to get visas is the hardest for people who don't have relatives or acquaintances in Australia.
