Many immigrants have concerns about living in Australia's regional areas, such as being distant from religion and social values. However, Pakistani and other immigrants living in the town of Mareeba in North Queensland dismiss these concerns based on their own experiences.

There are concerns about discrimination and racial prejudice in regional areas, but both Dr. Fawad and Asjad Ahmed disagree with these concerns. They believe that, despite the negative image of rural areas, they have not faced any form of discrimination.
