Pakistani cricket stars in the Big Bash League thank Australian fans but remain focused on performance

Australian cricketer and Sydney Thunder skipper David Warner said the PSL has long supported Australian cricket and added that it is exciting to see Pakistani players featuring in the BBL. In the Big Bash League 2025–2026, Pakistani players praised the league’s high standard and intense competition. Shaheen Shah Afridi and Shadab Khan described the excitement as outstanding, saying the BBL experience is vital preparation for PSL 2026 and the upcoming World Cup.


The Brisbane Heat picked Shaheen Shah Afridi in Round 1 under the Platinum category. Shadab Khan was picked by Sydney Thunder, and Hasan Khan was selected for Melbourne Renegades. Hasan Ali was included by the Adelaide Strikers in Round 3.
