Seema Abdullah believes her contribution to the Australian society is helping people understand Pakistan and its treatment of women...


Seema Abdullah came to Australia a decade ago. After spending some time in Melbourne her family moved to Shepparton where she lives happily.

In her time in Australia, she has found the country, particular her current city of residence, to be very welcoming, friendly and accepting.

She is active in the local community and wants to contribute to its betterment.

Being a woman from Pakistan, she believes she has many opportunities to present a soft and true image of Pakistan in front of those who only know about the country from the news, and haven't actually been to Pakistan or met someone from there.

She also harbours political ambitions but she is strongly maintains that her aim is to help develop the community by becoming part of decision-making process.
