Painting of monuments and tourist destinations of Pakistan and Australia are exhibited on public buses by Pakistani artists with the support of the High Commission of Australia in Pakistani. The bus art project is inspired by the popular Pakistani truck art and it is a brainchild of Pakistani-Australian artists, Imran Ahmad and Fatima Saeed.

"The Bus Art Project" is initiated in Pakistan during the pandemic where people are unable to visit exhibitions and art galleries are closed. Two public buses are converted into artwork on wheels portraying the most popular images from the two countries. The project was led by Pakistani-Australian artists, Imran Ahmad and Fatima Saeed, in collaboration with local emerging artists and students and supported by the Australian high commission in Islamabad. Around 100 students, including students of art and design from prominent educational institutes of Pakistan, joined the artists in a series of workshops to paint the buses.
