Australia is scheduled to tour Pakistan in March 2022. This will be Australia’s first tour of Pakistan in over 23 years.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has suspended batsman Umar Akmal under its anti-corruption code hours before the start of its domestic Twenty20 tournament in Karachi.

Franchise teams are gearing up for Pakistan Super League season 7 starting in January 2022.  PCB announced that the seventh season of PSL will be held in January and February 2022 with all matches taking place in Pakistan. Currently, the West Indies cricket team is on a tour of Pakistan and playing the first T20 match in National Stadium Karachi on 13 December.
