Ensuring transparency and accountability in the humanitarian sector has long been a concern so now NGOs are looking to emerging technology like blockchain and cryptocurrency as a possible way to remove corruption and target their efforts.


The United Nations says the past five years have seen the biggest increase in humanitarian need on record, due to the combination of three Cs - Conflict, climate change and COVID.
