Fears for Adelaide's river dolphins due to rise in deaths

While many Australian cities get regular visits from dolphins, Adelaide is thought to be one of the only urban areas in the world with a pod of wild dolphins living permanently within the city limits.


They're a delight to many locals and bring visitors to the area.


But living so close to humans can also bring risks and after two seemingly healthy calves were found dead in the Port River earlier this year, conservationists are calling for greater protections.
