A toddler has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car as she lay in her pram in Sydney's northwest.
The three-year-old was waiting with her mum at a crossing in the Sydney suburb Northmead when the pram she was in was hit by a truck and dragged 15 metres.
Paramedics said the girl was unconscious and assisted by bystanders, including a doctor and firefighter, who treated the toddler until CareFlight’s specialist doctor paramedics arrived.

“The people who were treating the patient prior to us arriving were really great and helped to maintain her condition,” CareFlight doctor Fay Balian said.
The toddler was transported to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
She remains in a stable condition.
Police, firefighters and paramedics also attended the scene.
