Australian drivers will start to pay more at the petrol station today as the government's temporary fuel price cuts come to an end.
The discount on fuel has been cut from 32 cents to 16 cents per litre until the start of August when the cost-saving measure ends.
The discount was brought on during the conflict in the Middle East, after the closure of an important trade route made oil prices go up.
New research says Australians earning less are most likely to be impacted by the rising prices because they spend more of their money on fuel than higher-income people.

Minister for Agriculture Julie Collins says that a deadly strain of bird flu has been found in a fifth seabird in Western Australia.
The bird is the fourth to get the disease in Western Australia, with another found in South Australia.
Ms Collins says that there are no signs of large-scale deaths in the wider wildlife population, or infections in the agriculture sector.
She says there is still a low risk to humans.
"As I've said many times, given the spread of the H5 globally, it's not unexpected that other migratory sea birds may have also arrived at other locations along Australia's coastline. That's why our government has been preparing for this. We've invested over $113 million to boost our H5 bird flu preparedness as part of our $2 billion investments in additional biosecurity since we've come to office."

Almost 2000 people have been reported dead after two large earthquakes in Venezuela last week, with more than 10,000 still missing.
Rescue teams looking for survivors in Venezuela are losing hope after almost one week of searching.
World Food Programme Director in Venezuela Stephanie Hochstetter says the impacts of this disaster will last a long time.
“And this is why we are calling from the onset for sustained support to ensure that families are not trapped in a prolonged cycle of food insecurity. Our initial appeal is of $50 million to provide life-saving food assistance up to half a million people over the next three months along with critical logistics and emergency communication support.”
