Benjamin Ferencz, the last surviving prosecutor from the Nuremberg trials which brought Nazi war criminals to justice following the Second World War has died.

Benjamin Ferencz, the last surviving prosecutor from the Nuremberg trials which brought Nazi war criminals to justice following the Second World War has died.


Mr Ferencz secured convictions of numerous German officers who led roving death squads during the war and remained a longtime advocate for international law and justice following the trials.
