Australians in Iran have been urged to leave after the government cut diplomatic ties with Iran.
Iran's Australian ambassador has been expelled after ASIO revealed it had evidence Iran had directed two antisemitic attacks in Sydney and Melbourne.
Travellers have been told not to go to the country as the Australian government no longer has an embassy there.
But Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei says Iran is not responsible.
"This is a new development. My colleagues are investigating the issue and our response. But the accusation made is completely rejected. Technically, the concept called antisemitism has no place in our culture, history or religion. This is a Western and European phenomenon."

The UN's postal agency says 25 countries have now suspended shipments to the US because of customs duties.
Australia is among the countries to publicly announce they've paused the sending of some parcels to the States for that reason.
The administration of US President Donald Trump recently scrapped a customs tax rule that exempted small packages from duty.
Purchases that previously entered the US without needing to clear customs will now require vetting and be subject to their origin country's applicable tariff rate, which can range from 10 to 50 per cent.

A new report suggests that the number of Australians living with allergy has doubled in the past 18 years.
The study from Deloitte Access Economics looked at 17,000 households, finding 8.2 million people have an allergy, up from 4.1 million in 2007.
Professor Kirsten Perrett is the Director of the National Allergy Centre of Excellence and a paediatrician at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute.
She says there are a few reasons why Australia has the highest rates of allergies in the world.
"We know that genes and our genetic makeup are a factor, but it's the environment that has changed so significantly. So, we've got pollen changes, we've got pollution changes. We've got lots of irritants and chemicals in the community, in the environment."

Palaeontologists have made one of the most significant fossil discoveries in Australia, unearthing a near-complete ichthyosaur in rural Queensland.
The 7.1 metre skeleton was found by a fossil hobbyist while fossicking on her neighbour's property in the state's west.
It is estimated to be around 90 per cent complete, making it one of best preserved of its kind in the country.
Palaeontology Curator at Townsville's Queensland Museum Tropics, Espen Knutsen, hopes the find will pave the way for further discoveries.
"You can't go out there a year without finding new stuff, and a lot of the time it's not as great as this one. But with the vast areas Queensland and Australia has to offer, I would be surprised if there is not still stuff sitting there waiting to be picked up."
