UK Government unveils painful budget as recession takes hold

Britain's government has unveiled a painful budget with £55 billion of tax hikes and spending cuts, as it confirms the country is in recession. Finance Minister Jeremy Hunt says the measures will alleviate rather than aggravate the economic downturn.
