Western Australia has become the second state to pass voluntary assisted dying legislation, giving terminally ill patients with up to six months to live the option of ending their lives.


Listeners seeking support and information about suicide can contact Lifeline 24 hours a day online and on 13 11 14.

Other services include the Suicide Call Back Service on 1300 659 467 and the Australian Centre for Grief and Bereavement on 1800 642 066.
