Aboriginal elder receives apology for removal from Obama event

Organisers of an event hosting former US President Barack Obama in Melbourne have apologised to Wurundjeri elder Aunty Joy Murphy after they removed her from a Welcome to Country ceremony at short notice. An Aboriginal cultural heritage group says the incident should serve as a reminder to engage in meaningful relationships with First Nations people.
