10 Questions With Year Ten Student Wyanita Tranter

Wyanita has a passion for writing and so we thought it would be great to share her story with you all with 10 questions and also get her to share her tips for surviving year ten.

Over the next two weeks NITV will be graced by the talented Wyanita Tranter who is a year ten student currently doing her work experience with us. In this time Wyanita will gain a whole range of skills and experience in the daily functions of running the channel. Wyanita tells NITV that she is interested in a career working in media and has a passion for writing and so we thought it would be great for her to share her story with you all. 

 

10 Questions For Wyanita Tranter

 

1. Who are you and who’s your mob?

   My name is Wyanita Tranter. I am fifteen years old and my star sign is the Capricorn. My mum is from the Ait Koedal clan on Saibai Island up in the Torres Strait and my dad is Kamilaroi.

2. What school are you attending?

   I am currently in year ten at Kingsgrove North High School.

3. Why did you choose NITV as a place to do your work experience?

   I chose NITV for work experience because I really want to go into the entertainment industry and felt that NITV would be a good place to start.

4. Do you embrace digital technology and why?

   Digital technology is a big part of my life especially with me being a teenager this day and age.

5. What are you top three apps and why?

   My top three apps are social media apps, Facebook and Twitter the third would have to be a game called Bigfoot. These are probably the apps I use most, Twitter to keep up with celebrities and such and Facebook to talk to my friends. Bigfoot is a game I really enjoy.

6. What are your top three books and why?

   My favourite books are, Daughter of Smoke and Bone, Throne of Glass, both are the first books in a series. The other book is Eleanor and Park which is a romance novel set in a small town.

7. What are your top three TV shows and/or movies and why?

   Top three TV shows are Young Justice, The IT Crowd and my favourite movie is Ender’s Game.

8. What are you passionate about and why is this important?

   I don’t know what I’m passionate about yet but hopefully I will find out.

9. Who inspires you and why?

   My older sister inspires me greatly. Her positive attitude, bubbly personality and joking smile always inspires me to be a better person.

10. If you could change anything in this world what would it be?

    If I could change anything in this world it would probably be the need for money.
