Broadcasting as part of SBS since 2012, NITV holds an important and unique place in the media landscape. It provides an essential voice for Indigenous Australians and offers all Australians a window to Indigenous cultural heritage, stories, ideas and aspirations.

The channel is constantly developing and exploring ways to make a greater impact. NITV Channel Manager, Tanya Denning-Orman, welcomes you to discuss the channel’s ongoing development.

The South Australian Film Corporation has long supported and celebrated the telling of First Nations stories on screen by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. Screen Australia’s Indigenous Department supports creatively ambitious projects and people, and imaginative, resonant stories authored by Indigenous Australians. The Indigenous Department has recently updated its Funding Guidelines. Penny Smallacombe, Head of the Indigenous Department and Andrew Dillon, Development and Investment Manager will be providing an overview of these changes.
