Aboriginal boys who fled police in north Queensland found safe

Two boys who fled from police into mangroves after they were discovered in a stolen car have been found.

Two boys who fled into north Queensland mangroves to escape police have been found safe.

The boys were in an allegedly stolen car when police intercepted it near Townsville before dawn on Friday.

Police said the pair were found safe and well but they were taken to hospital for observation.
