Ash Barty's French Open campaign has been put on notice after the world No.1 was relegated to second-favourite to win by the booking agencies.
The Ngarigo woman is sitting at $6 to win, while rising Polish star Iga Swiatek is the favourite at $3.75.
The two titans have been locked in a tense race for titles glory in recent weeks.
Following Barty's take-down of Swiatek in the third round of the Madrid Open, the Pole struck gold at the Italian Open after Barty retired due to injury.
"It's disappointing no doubt but it was important that I listened to my body and gave it time to rest and recover and make sure that in a couple of weeks time I'm 100% fit for Roland Garros," Barty said of her arm injury.
"It became worse while we were playing. The challenging thing is to make the decision to stop. It's the thing that I hate the most, not being able to finish a tennis match. It's not in my makeup, not what I like to do.
"But the pain was becoming too severe, so it was important to try and do the right thing."
The win in Italy has put reigning Roland-Garros champ Swiatek on top of the punters' list to retain her title.
But Barty says she's made a full recovery from her injury and is fighting fit for the French Open beginning May 30.
