Hodges still enemy number one in Blues territory

He left the Origin arena twelve months ago but it seems League Nation Live member Justin Hodges is still in the thoughts of Blues fans.

He’s a much loved member of the League Nation Live team, but it seems Justin Hodges still gets under the skin of the New South Wales fans.

Experts from NITV’s League Nation Live were asked to name their Origin ‘villian’ and there was a clear winner south of the border.

Former NRL star George Rose took little time to enter the debate, announcing Hodges as the Maroon the people of New South Wales love to hate.

“ I don’t even have to think about this – Justin Hodges.

“You go to New South Wales now and you talk Origin to anyone they say ‘Justin Hodges, I hate him!’.

“The worst thing that ever happened was him retiring. I’m lost at Origin time because he’s not there for me to swear at the TV and say ‘smash him’”, Rose said cheekily.

Whilst the segment was 'tongue in cheek', it seems Hodges can still rile up the Blues fans even in his retirement.

But after a stunning Origin career with Queensland, the Maroons legend is still having the last laugh.
