Mr Turnbull this afternoon resigned from cabinet in a bid to force a leadership ballot. Both he and the Foreign Minister Julie Bishop met with the Prime Minister earlier today to request the leadership ballot. Mr Turnbull on Monday afternoon resigned from cabinet in a bid to force a leadership ballot.

Both he and the Foreign Minister Julie Bishop met with the Prime Minister earlier today to request the leadership ballot.
