Calls are being made for co-ordination of laws relating to cyber bullying across Australia.

Calls are being made for co-ordination of laws relating to cyber bullying across Australia.

 

Chairman of the National Centre Against Bullying, Alastair Nicholson, says currently the issue is probably covered by both federal and state laws.

 

But he says the laws haven't kept up with changes in online behaviour, particularly by young people.

 

Mr Nicholson told Peggy Giakoumelos that schools, parents and young people themselves all need clarification of what the law regards as bullying.
