PM to visit New Zealand

Prime Minister John Howard will visit New Zealand next month.

Mr Howard says he'll be discussing a range of issues with New Zealand's Prime Minister, Helen Clark.

He says regional security and prosperity will be high on the agenda.

As well as the talks with Ms Clark, Mr Howard will also open a new Australian consulate in Auckland.
