The Raggett family from Borroloola say "it’s too little too late" for an apology from NT police after their investigation into the boy’s death was deemed inadequate.
A recent ABC 4 Corners investigation uncovered a series of errors by the Northern Territory police during the initial search for the young boy.
During this investigation it was revealed that important DNA evidence had been thrown away, and the Northern Territory police have since admitted the investigation was flawed.
After seven years of silence, the Raggett family have flown to Darwin to meet Police Commissioner John McRoberts and discuss the investigation processes regarding K Raggett’s death in 2007.
With so many questions left unanswered, there is little comfort for the family.
