Traditional owners and community leaders from across the state descended on parliament to voice their opposition towards coal seam gas activity in New South Wales.

The ‘Our Land Our Water Our Future’ campaign gathered over 10,000 signatures for their petition against mining on traditional land.

"I think it’s great that finally the rest of Australia is realising what Aboriginal people have known for forever and a day: just how important our land and water really is, not just to Aboriginal people but to everybody. You know without it we won’t survive," said activist Dolly Tolbott.
