Search underway for missing Aboriginal man in south-west Queensland

A search is underway for a man missing man in south-west Queensland.

27-year-old Jeremiah Rivers was last seen near Wilson River, about 20 kilometres south of Noccundra at 9:30 on Sunday morning.

A Queensland Police spokesperson told NITV News the search resumed at first light this morning and was continuing to the northern side of the Warri Gate Road.

Mr Rivers is described as being 185cm tall, with a slim build and a tattoo of a cross under his right arm.

He was last seen wearing a red Chicago Bulls singlet, black jeans and red sneakers.

Police are urging anyone who has information about Mr Rivers whereabouts to contact them.
