Hey cool kids! Want to make some extra cash and impress your partner? Then snitch on those bad graffiti youths you've seen tagging bus stops and other spaces.
That's the message seemingly contained in a new WA Police ad campaign released online that has lit up social media.
Girl: "Thanks so much for today, what's the special occasion?"
Guy: "Remember those guys who were tagging the bus stop?"
Fast cut to shots of youths in hoodies and beanies spraying tags onto a suburban bus stop with blaring electro beats.
Guy: "I got sick of them doing it and tagging, so I reported it and didn't realise it but we got a reward."
Girl: "That's awesome! That's a win win."
The acting looks like it is done by real people rather than actors, and they look like they are about to burst out laughing at various points. Maybe they are just really excited about ending graffiti.
According to WA Police graffiti costs the state $25 million a year. It's such an issue the state government even has an entire website dedicated to graffiti.
Social media was quick to take note after the video was released on WA Police's Facebook page.
