Bold, strong patterns are influencing a new children's wear brand, Little Flexi, created by Gamilaroi entrepreneur and designer Mikala Sedgwick with her partner Pete.
"The inspiration for our designs comes from our love of bold, vibrant colours and patterns," she told NITV.
Ms Sedgwick said she was also moved by artist Keith Haring, an American and social activist who is known for his use of strong colours in his depictions of street culture of New York City.

The duo, which launched their website in September, complement each other well in their new artistic endeavour. Ms Sedgwick is a fashion designer and textiles producer while Pete brings his graphic design skills to the table.
The team are featuring their line at markets that aim to put the spotlight on fashion from emerging and established Australian designers alike in Sydney and Canberra in November and December.
