Earlier this week, police officers Aaron Strahan and Troy Tomlin were found guilty of unlawful assault and given eight month suspended jail sentences.

Now, Mr Spratt has been arrested and charged with a series of 10 offences, including four counts of assaulting a police officer, two counts of stealing, one count of obstructing police, one count of assault occasioning bodily harm, one count of aggravated burglary and one count of obstructing police.

After being held in the Cannington Police station and charged, Mr Spratt was transported to the Royal Perth Hospital for a medical assessment.

There are no details yet of whether Mr Spratt was injured, but pending his medical assessment Mr Spratt will be taken to Perth's Central Law Courts to face charges.

Police said the charges related to incidents allegedly committed in Rockingham, Bentley and Cloverdale yesterday and early this morning.
