A Queensland election analyst says requiring voters to have identification at polling booths has discriminated against and disenfranchised Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The Federal Government plans to introduce the voter ID scheme nationally, even as Professor Graham Orr says, it proved a failure in Queensland.
