Former Liberal Party leader and Communications Minister Malcolm Turnbull says he will challenge Tony Abbott's leadership. Mr Turnbull this afternoon resigned from cabinet in a bid to force a leadership ballot. Both he and the Foreign Minister Julie Bishop met with the Prime Minister earlier today to request the leadership ballot.
