Over the last few years, South Australia's prison population has been steadily increasing. The latest figures show about 20 per cent, or just over 500 prisoners in South Australia's jails are Aboriginal. The Aboriginal Legal Rights Movement, one of the oldest Indigenous legal services in Australia, helps our people inside and outside the justice system.
