Take Blaktion campaign to help prevent syphilis

Northern Australia has been hit by its worst outbreak of syphilis in 30 years with close to 2000 cases recorded in the last 12 months. Outbreaks like these have sparked calls for more preventative measures, such as the ‘Take Blaktion’ Campaign, which was launched in New South Wales to educate youth on their sexual health. Campaign ambassadors and comic duo Steven Oliver and Elizabeth Wymarra spoke with NITV News Journalist Tara Callinan while in Nowra recently.
