As we heard in our news Lynette Daley died in 2011 from horrific injuries sustained in a brutal sexual assault, but no one has faced trial for her death. The details of the case have shocked the nation following a 4 corners report this week and there are calls for the killers to be held to account. The New South Wales Director of Public Prosecutions has now taken the extraordinary step of calling in independent counsel to review the decision not to prosecute two suspects.
