WA Elders concerned government may 'forget' their rights on referendum anniversary

It was a unifying moment for Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australia. 48 years ago today, Australia held its most successful referendum - removing overt discrimination against Indigenous people in the Constitution and allowing them to be counted in the census. With the focus on referenda, Aboriginal elders from the Kimberley say their rights are being forgotten by the Government.
